Effective date: September 1, 2026
This notice explains how Repoify, Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on https://repoify.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What these are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use related technologies such as local storage and session storage. We refer to all of these as "cookies" here.
2. What we store
Everything we store is strictly necessary, meaning the Service cannot provide what you asked it for without it. We set no analytics, advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking storage of any kind.
Some of it is set before you sign in, on your very first page. Our authentication provider's script runs on every page, including the home page, so that any page can tell whether you are already signed in. It stores a client identifier and a signed-in-or-not marker as soon as it runs, and the network in front of it stores two more to tell people apart from automated traffic. On a first visit the marker's value is simply "0", meaning not signed in.
None of this identifies you to us before you sign in, none of it is used to build a profile of you, and none of it follows you to other sites.
| What | Set by | When | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| A client identifier and a signed-in-or-not marker, so a page can tell whether to show you as signed in | Our authentication provider | On any page, including before you sign in | Up to two years |
| Protection against automated abuse, on the authentication provider's own network | The network in front of our authentication provider | On any page, including before you sign in | One expires in about thirty minutes, one lasts the browser session |
| Configuration for the sign-in screen, in your browser's local storage | Our authentication provider | On any page, including before you sign in | Until it expires or you clear site data |
| Session management, so you stay signed in between pages, and protection against cross-site request forgery | Our authentication provider | After you sign in | Session, and a persistent sign-in token |
| Your current search results, so that reloading the page does not lose work you have already paid for | Repoify, in your browser's session storage | Only while you are signed in and running a search | Cleared when you close the tab |
The last two rows are storage rather than cookies, and are included for completeness. Neither leaves your browser. The search results row is not readable by us or by any third party, and exists so that a reload does not discard results a credit was already spent on.
Repoify itself sets no cookies. Every cookie above belongs to the sign-in system we use, which is what makes signing in possible at all.
Payments. Paying takes you to a checkout page hosted by Stripe on Stripe's own domain. Any cookies set there are Stripe's and are governed by Stripe's notice, not this one. We do not run Stripe's scripts on our site.
Booking a demo. Our booking page shows a scheduler operated by Calendly. Nothing is requested from Calendly until you press the button that opens it, so simply visiting the page loads nothing of theirs. Once you open it, anything the scheduler stores is Calendly's and is governed by Calendly's notice. We do not run Calendly's scripts on our site; the scheduler is shown in a frame of its own. If you would rather not use it, email us instead and we will arrange a time by hand.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not permit third parties to use cookies on our site for their own advertising.
3. Your choices
Why you were not asked to consent. Consent under EU and UK rules is required for storage that is not strictly necessary. We set none, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to show. We take the view that asking you to approve cookies you cannot refuse, and without which you could not sign in, would misrepresent a choice you do not have. If we ever introduce storage that does require consent, we will ask for it before setting it, and we will update this notice first.
Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the ones described above will prevent you from signing in, because every one of them belongs to the sign-in system. You can browse the public pages with them blocked; you will not be able to reach an account.
Global Privacy Control. GPC is a browser signal that opts you out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is no such processing for the signal to stop, and we do not currently detect it. If we ever introduce processing that GPC applies to, we will detect and honour it, and we will update this notice before doing so rather than after.
Do Not Track. There is no consistent industry standard for DNT, so we do not respond to it. We do not detect GPC either, for the reason given above: there is no processing here for either signal to stop.
4. Changes
We will update this notice when our use of cookies changes, and will revise the effective date.
